Preliminary estimation methods

How to check this project is feasibility or not? In a beginning of a project what are questions can ask by consultant to client???????????

1.Investment

2.Duration
3.Quality
4.Scale(100 bedroom)

1st Stage - We don't have any details or drawings single rate methods.


1. Unite method
2. Cube (Volume of the building - cost/m3)
3. Superficial area method
4. Story enclosure method

1.Unit method
This method to we can check (not exactly) whether this project possible or not?

Eg- Hotel - per car space (pricing) - quality - market price
- School - per desk
- Hospital - per bed

This method used very early stage.

Less accurate.

Unit method effecting things

*Not recent(so we need to adjust for the present inflation)

2nd Stage - We have out line about the project but not in details.
